For every item that we sell, a portion of the proceeds are used to finance the activities of Rainforest Concern to support our longer term mission of improving the environment

Rainforest Concern manages the following:

• Permanently acquiring land for perpetual conservation. (10 square meters of land for each garment sold)
• Supporting a reforestation team to care for and protect the area.
• Educational workshops for local residents to help them get the most from the land in the most responsible manner.

• The sale of 100,000 items will preserve enough drinking water for 50 to 100 families.

• Saving just one tree can account for the absorption of 367 kg of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

• Buying 3 items will help to fund enough reforestation to absorb over 1 tonne or 2,300 pounds of carbon dioxide each year. (Compared to the average contribution of 11 tonnes per year for every citizen of most industrialized nations.)
